Research Projects

  1. Valles Caldera Imaging (PhD Dissertation)
Joint Bayesian inversion of ambient-noise surface-wave dispersion and H/V spectral ratios to resolve shallow crustal structure beneath a Quaternary caldera.
  2. EGS Collab – Fracture Characterization (PNNL)
Coda-wave decorrelation and scattering cross-section density analysis to monitor hydraulic fracture development during enhanced geothermal stimulation at the Sanford Underground Research Facility.
  3. Cape Modern Geothermal Field (LBNL)
Waveform envelope modeling to separate intrinsic and scattering attenuation and infer subsurface fracture heterogeneity.
  4. Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS)
Development of processing workflows for DAS-based surface-wave and near-surface seismic imaging.
  5. Lg Attenuation – Western Himalaya
Estimation of Lg attenuation parameters using broadband seismic data to map lateral variations in crustal properties.
